Registration Details

Registration for the BBDC Joslin UCPH Diabetes Conference 2017 is complimentary for members of the Banting & Best Diabetes Centre, Joslin Diabetes Center, University of Copenhagen and their trainees.

*BBDC, Joslin and UCPH members and trainees are required to pre-register.

Those unaffiliated with the member organizations are welcome to attend the conference.

The unaffiliated registration fee is $200 CAD for the one-and-a-half day program.

Traveling to Canada

Canada has introduced the Electronic Travel Authorization, a new border entry requirement, known as an eTA, for visa-exempt foreign nationals traveling to Canada by air. Exceptions include United States citizens and those with a valid Canadian visa. Entry requirements for other methods of travel (land, sea) have not changed. Eligible travelers can apply online for an eTA at a cost of $7 CAD. This entry requirement is mandatory and travelers will need an eTA before they can board a flight to Canada.

Cancellation:

Refunds will not be issued for cancellation received after October 6, 2017. A processing fee of $60 CAD will be retained on all cancellations of registration with payment. Requests for cancellation must be made in writing. Registrations are not transferable.

The University of Toronto reserves the right to cancel events. Registrants will be notified at the earliest possible date in the event of a cancellation of a program or conference. Registration fees for events cancelled by the University will be refunded; however the University will not be liable for any loss, damages or other expenses that such cancellations may cause.
